We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a clinical and training director. In this multifaceted role, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our training events as well as the management of our therapy clinic. As a clinical and training director, you will be responsible for sourcing new speakers, coordinating training events, hosting them, and ensuring their seamless execution. Additionally, you will collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns for workshops. Furthermore, you will oversee the management of our therapy clinic, including developing referral sources, managing clinical staff, monitoring clinical outcomes, and ensuring clinicians receive appropriate supervision. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to both the training and clinical aspects of our organisation.
Responsibilities
- Source and recruit experienced and knowledgeable international speakers and trainers who align with our training objectives and values, particularly in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and other related fields.
- Work closely with the training lead (Dr Joe Oliver) to coordinate and schedule training events, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.
- Act as a point of contact for speakers, trainers, and participants, providing clear and timely communication throughout the process.
- Host training events, creating a supportive and professional environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns for workshops, maximising attendance and engagement.
- Assist in producing resources that can be used by clinicians and practitioners.
- Manage our therapy clinic, including developing and maintaining referral sources, overseeing clinical staff, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, implementing measures to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of therapy services.
- Facilitate regular supervision sessions and provide support to clinicians to enhance their professional development and ensure high-quality client care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to training activities, clinical outcomes, and supervision sessions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, research, and advancements in both training and therapy fields, particularly in ACT and related modalities.
- Report to and be supported by the company directors.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting, such as clinical or counselling psychology.
- Proven experience in coordinating training events or similar projects.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to establish and maintain relationships with speakers, trainers, participants, and clinical staff.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for scheduling, communication, record-keeping, and data analysis.
- Extensive experience and expertise in ACT and other related fields.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in developing targeted marketing campaigns is an advantage, but not essential.
- Understanding of clinical supervision processes and the ability to support and guide clinicians effectively.
- A passion for learning, professional development, and improving client outcomes.

Hours
This role is part time for 2 days per week, with some flexibility on days and hours.
