Group supervision terms and conditions

These conditions and terms of contract and all matters arising therefrom are subject to the law of England & Wales and in the event of a dispute; you will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

Booking terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase and administration of the Group ACT Supervision Programme offered by Contextual Consulting. By registering for this programme, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking and payment
  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place in the supervision group.
  • We accept payment via Stripe or bank transfer. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
  • All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
2. Cancellation and refunds
  • If you cancel your place more than 14 days before the first scheduled session, you will receive a full refund.
  • If you cancel within 14 days of the first session, a 50% refund will be offered.
  • No refunds will be given once the supervision group has started, regardless of attendance.
  • In exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness or bereavement), we may offer a partial refund or credit at our discretion.
3. Transfers and substitutions
  • Your place is not transferable to another individual unless agreed in writing at least 7 days prior to the start of the group.
  • Transfers to another group are not normally permitted, but we will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
4. Missed sessions
  • Fees cover the full supervision group block and are not adjusted for missed sessions.
  • No refunds or partial refunds are available for missed sessions.
5. Minimum numbers and cancellations by us
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a supervision group if minimum numbers are not met or if a facilitator becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • In the event of cancellation by us, a full refund or credit will be offered.
6. Communication
  • All communication regarding the supervision programme, including payment receipts, Zoom links, and session reminders, will be sent via email to the address provided at booking.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are correct and up to date.
7. Data protection
  • We store and process your information in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • Your data will only be used for the purposes of administering the supervision programme, unless you have given additional consent.
8. Code of conduct
  • Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards others in the group.
  • We reserve the right to remove a participant from the group without refund if their behaviour is disruptive or harmful.
9. Confidentiality
  • Participation in group supervision requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. You must not disclose any identifying information about clients, supervisees, or other group members outside the group setting.
  • By joining the group, you agree to keep all clinical material, case discussions, and personal disclosures shared within the group confidential.
  • You must take appropriate steps to ensure that your participation in online sessions takes place in a private and secure space, free from interruptions and third-party access.
  • Any breaches of confidentiality may result in removal from the supervision group and may be reported to relevant professional bodies where appropriate.

Changes to terms

  • We reserve the right to update or amend these payment terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them before making a booking.
