ACT made simple
A beginner's workshop in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
About this workshop
Are you interested to find out more about ACT?
Learn practical skills that you can use right away?
In an elegantly simple way from one of the world’s leading experts in ACT?
Then this workshop is for you! It’s very experiential, and useful for both therapists and coaches.
Russ likes to call it ‘ACT Made Simple‘ – because it covers so much material in such a short space of time. The workshop is a ‘jargon-free zone’ guided by three core values: simplicity, clarity, and accessibility. (There’s also a big emphasis on having fun).
His highly acclaimed ACT workshops are brief, powerful, cost-effective and life-enhancing.
You will experience a wide variety of ACT exercises, and you will be encouraged to work with your own personal issues. You will be led through these exercises in the same way as you would instruct them to your clients.
You will also receive extensive support materials (more so than in any other ACT training around the world) including an album of professionally-recorded mp3s of key mindfulness skills, and a 3-months-long follow up e-course.
Who would benefit from this workshop?
We recommend this workshop for mental health professionals including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurse practitioners and mental health counsellors.
Feedback from previous workshops is always very positive:

“Just wonderful. It felt like a bubble of protected time to learn and consolidate. This ACT workshop was the one where ‘the penny dropped’ with regard to how all the separate processes interlink. Can’t thank you enough.”
