ACTivate Your Coaching: Intermediate Level

The aim of this workshop is to move you to the next level to become more fluid and flexible deliver of your ACT Coaching skills. We will make the session a fun and engaging space where you can practice new skills, ask the questions you always wanted to and see real life demonstrations of central skills of the ACT model.

In this workshop you will learn:

• How to  set up and deliver your ACT sessions in a coherent way that is responsive and engaging
• How to plan a session to efficiently and rapidly target key processes
•  Key skills in acceptance, defusion, mindfulness and values-based goals to super-charge your sessions
• How to apply ACT in specific coaching contexts, including clients who are stuck in cycles of overwhelm, imposter syndrome, low confidence, self-criticism
• How to overcome troubleshoot challenges and stuck issues, such as low motivation or reduced client confidence

Your Facilitators

Dr. Joe Oliver is an Associate Professor, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and founder of Contextual Consulting, the leading provider of ACT training in the United Kingdom. He has working for over 20 years as a practicing psychologist and is  a programme director at University College London. He also runs a busy London-based private practice, offering ACT coaching and consultations. He is co-author of the book, Acceptance and Commitment Coaching.

Hazel Anderson-Turner is a Business Psychologist who has been used ACT intensively throughout 2020 when supporting the NHS with resilience coaching.  Hazel has developed a specialism in workplace resilience and uses ACT techniques within her leadership masterclasses and team resilience workshops.
