If you can answer ‘Yes’ to more than one of these questions, then this workshop has been designed for you. RFT is a powerful, and elegantly simple theory (we know but it’s true) that can make a big difference in terms of the precision, speed and focus of your work. An understanding of the principles of RFT can help you target your use of language to focus on particular ways in which clients make relations between different aspects of their experience. Whilst an understanding of RFT can bring an added dimension to your work, many RFT texts can be heavily theoretical and difficult to relate to practice.
This webinar aims to present the core concepts of RFT in an accessible manner with a clear focus on practical application.
The webinar will be presented from a behavioural science perspective and will aim to increase practical skills, as well as knowledge of RFT, whatever your model of working. No previous knowledge of RFT will be assumed, although some experience of using behavioural principles in the service of your work (e.g. as a therapist, coach, or educator) will be helpful.
The webinar has four main aims:
