Develop your therapist’s sixth sense – Robyn Walser

In this clip taken from our YouTube channel, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) expert, Robyn Walser, discusses an example from a supervision session where a client was showing reluctance. Paying attention to what was happening in the therapy room and addressing it as part of relational process, helped to consider how using the ACT six core process could move past the reluctance and towards significant change for the client.

ROBYN WALSER is Director of TL Psychological and Consultation Services, Assistant Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and works at the National Center for PTSD. As a licensed psychologist, she maintains an international training, consulting and therapy practice and has also co-authored 7 books on ACT.
