Dr Joe Oliver is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working in the NHS, with a wide range of problems and issues. He is passionate about his work and is a warm, down to earth person, who firmly believes that therapy can make a significant difference to a person’s life. Joe is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He regularly lectures, teaches and supervises other professionals in these approaches. He is also co-edited the text book, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy & Mindfulness for Psychosis, and also co-authored the self help book, ACTivate Your Life and several text books, including ACT for Psychosis Recovery, Acceptance and Commitment Coaching, ACT: 100 Key Points and Techniques and most recently, the Mindfulness and Acceptance Workbook for Self Esteem.
Who does Joe work with?
Joe works with a variety of clients including couples. Joe assists people with anxiety, depression, OCD, anger issues, relationship problems, confidence, low self esteem, trauma, grief and loss, interpersonal issues, stress, and addiction. Joe also offers coaching sessions to help with health, impact and performance.

Fees for Sessions with Joe
If you are paying for therapy sessions yourself, the standard fee for either an initial consultation or therapy session is £150.
We ask that payment is made before the consultation.
Payment can be made with, Cash, Cheque or BACS.
Joe is registered with most major insurance providers, including Aviva, Pru Health, WPA, Cigna and other insurers. He is not currently taking BUPA or AXA clients.
