Dr Elisabeth Baker is a Clinical Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. With over a decade of experience working in various NHS settings, she has trained using several therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She currently works using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness based interventions. She is actively involved in research and regularly provides teaching and training to healthcare professionals in different contexts.
Elisabeth recognises the importance of accessing targeted help when experiencing problems, and strongly values the active and collaborative process of therapy in enabling people to make meaningful and sustainable changes in their lives.
What kinds of difficulties does Elisabeth works with?
Elisabeth works individually with adults experiencing a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, life transitions, adjustment to living with long term health conditions. She specialises in appearance anxiety and associated difficulties: social anxiety, preoccupation with body image, intimacy, relationships, adjustment to a change in appearance.

Fees for Sessions with Elisabeth
If you are paying for therapy sessions yourself, the standard fee for either an initial consultation or therapy session is £135.
We ask that payment is made before the consultation.
Payment can be made with, Cash, Cheque or BACS.
Elisabeth is registered with most major insurance providers, including BUPA, Aviva, Pru Health, WPA, Cigna and other insurers.
