Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) is a revolutionary, modern approach to behaviour change, combining mindfulness and values-based action to transform lives.
More and more coaches are using ACT to take their practice to the next level, helping their clients to become more flexible, resourceful and responsive, even under the most challenging of circumstances.
Exciting recent developments have focused on the use of ACT interventions in the workplace. Research has shown ACT to be highly effective in multiple areas: from improving performance, job-satisfaction, innovation and motivation to increasing resilience to developing transformational leadership behaviours.
In this workshop you will:
Joe is a Clinical Psychologist and ACT-focused trainer and supervisor. He delivers teaching and training on ACT and cognitive behavioural therapies in the UK and internationally.
Jon is a corporate trainer and executive coach. He specialises in working with individuals and groups around health, wellbeing, resilience and leadership. In recent years clients have included Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline and Cisco systems.
Plus, special guest presenter, Dr. Paul Flaxman, Senior Lecturer in Occupational Psychology at City University, London
