Lisa Coyne

Lisa W. Coyne, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to enhancing the psychological well-being of children, teens, adults and families for nearly 20 years. She is the founder and owner of the New England Centre for OCD and Anxiety. Previously, Dr. Coyne held a tenured professorship in Clinical Psychology at Suffolk University for nine years and is currently an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She established the McLean Child and Adolescent OCD Institute (OCDI Jr.) and serves as a Senior Clinical Consultant at McLean Hospital. Dr. Coyne has served as the President of the Association for Contextual Behaviour Science (the primary organization of the ACT community) and is on the Paediatric and Clinical Advisory Boards of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). Additionally, she is a peer-reviewed ACT trainer with the ACBS.

With over two decades of clinical and academic experience, Dr Coyne is known for her developmentally-informed approach to working with children and families facing anxiety, OCD, and emotional regulation challenges. She has published extensively on parenting, child and adolescent mental health, and ACT.
