Elisabeth Baker
Dr Elisabeth Baker is a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience working across diverse health psychology settings. She has extensive expertise supporting clients adjusting to physical health conditions and conducting specialist assessments for individuals considering surgery. She has a specialist interest in appearance anxiety and associated challenges, such as social anxiety, body image concerns, relationship and intimacy difficulties, and adjustment to changes in appearance.Alongside her clinical and training roles, Elisabeth has been actively involved in research collaborations.
Elisabeth is an experienced acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) practitioner and supervisor. She has provided group supervision to professionals from a variety of disciplines, including clinical nurse specialists in oncology, physiotherapists in pain management services, and clinical psychologists working in diverse contexts. She regularly lectures on undergraduate and doctoral psychology programs and has a particular passion for delivering introductory ACT training.
