These conditions and terms of contract and all matters arising therefrom are subject to the law of England & Wales and in the event of a dispute; you will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
Booking terms and conditions
Booking cancellation
- Cancellations must be received no later than 2 WEEKS BEFORE the event and after this date refunds will not be permitted.
- The registration fee will be refunded minus an administration charge of up to 10% of the training fee if cancellations are received at least two weeks before the workshop date.
- Cancellations within two weeks of the event date are charged the full registration fee, other than in exceptional circumstances that can be verified.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Contextual Consulting Ltd.
Non-attendance
If you fail to attend the course without prior notice, no refund will be issued.
Replacing delegates
If a delegate is unable to attend and a replacement is nominated there may be a charge depending on the individual circumstances, this will be advised at the time. Please contact us to request a replacement of delegates at least a week before the workshop date.
Cancellations by the company:
- In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a training course, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to an alternative course date.
- In the event of cancellation of the course outside of our control we will not be held accountable for travel and/or accommodation costs incurred.
- All workshops will be subject to minimum delegate numbers being met; in the event that a workshop should be cancelled delegates will be given no less than 2 months’ notice.
Payment terms and conditions
Payment methods
We accept payments via debit cards and credit cards only. All payments must be made through our secure online payment system. We do not accept cash, cheques, or bank transfers.
Payment schedule
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the training course. Partial payments or instalment plans are not available unless explicitly stated in the course details.
Invoicing terms and conditions
- Specific organisations such as NHS trust or other large practices may be eligible to pay for their training, supervision and therapy via invoice. All other payments must be made up front via our standard payment methods.
- As of June 2025, Invoices are only available to selected accounts that have pre-registered and been approved by Contextual Consulting.
Payment terms for invoices
Unless a payment date has been agreed prior to purchase, invoices must be paid within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
Currency
All payments must be made in GBP (£) USD, AUD or Euros.
Gift voucher terms and conditions
- Vouchers are valid for a period specified on the voucher from the date of purchase. They cannot be redeemed after expiry date.
- Only one gift voucher can be used per course booking.
- Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with gift vouchers.
- Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with student discounts.
- Vouchers can be transferred to other registrants.
Payment confirmation
- Once payment is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details and payment receipt. If you don’t receive a response from us within 2 working days, please check your spam or junk mail folder. Otherwise, do please email us: admin@contextualconsulting.co.uk
- Please ensure you keep this for your records.
- A receipt is also available from your “My Account” section.
Fraud prevention
We reserve the right to cancel any bookings if fraudulent activity is suspected. Any suspicious transactions will be reported to the relevant authorities.
Disputes
If you have any issues related to payments, please contact our support team within 14 days of the transaction. We aim to resolve disputes promptly and fairly.
Data security
Your payment details are processed securely. We do not store your debit or credit card information on our servers. All transactions are encrypted to ensure your information is safe. Please refer to our website privacy policy for more information regarding your data.
Discounts and promotional offers
These offers are subject to availability and may be amended or withdrawn at any time without notice.
Early bird discounts
Early bird discounts are time sensitive offers applied discretionarily to workshop bookings. These discounts are automatically added to basket at checkout
Series or bundled workshop bookings
- Series or bundle discounts are valid on related courses and only valid when making multiple purchases in the same transaction.
- Series and bundle discounts are selected by Contextual Consulting and may be amended or withdrawn at any time without notice.
- These discounts are not valid retrospectively; purchases must be made at the same time and paid for at sign up.
Group discount eligibility
Group discounts are available for bookings of 2+:
- 2-5 attendees – 5%
- 6-10 attendees – 10%
- 10 and above 15%

Promotional discount codes terms and conditions
- Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with gift vouchers.
- Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with student discounts.
- Offers are subject to availability and may be amended or withdrawn at any time without notice.
- Promotional codes are non-transferable and not valid in conjunction with any other discount unless explicitly stated.
Student discount terms and conditions
- In order to qualify for the discounted student rate you must be a full time student attending or accepted into a tertiary education institution. You must also be able to show proof of enrolment if asked prior to or during an event. If you are not able to produce proof, you will be asked to pay in full, or your workshop place will be cancelled.
- The intention behind the discount is to support students who would not otherwise be able to afford the full price.
Developing nations discount terms and conditions
- In order to qualify for the developing nations discount you must be a resident of one of the eligible countries. You must also be able to show proof of residence if asked prior to or during an event. If you are not able to produce proof, you will be asked to pay in full, or your workshop place will be cancelled. Bookings for this discount are available via contacting admin@contextualconsulting.co.uk
- Qualifying countries are as per the definition of developing by the OECD.
Changes to terms
- We reserve the right to update or amend these payment terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them before making a booking.
