Tammy Walker

Dr Tammy Walker is a Clinical Psychologist who currently works as the Psychology lead at the Defence and Military Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC). This is the leading rehabilitation centre for serving UK military personnel in the UK. She has extensive experience working across a wide range of clinical populations, with particular expertise in trauma, adjustment to injury, and psychological resilience.

Before joining DMRC, Dr Walker established and led a specialist service for individuals with Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD), integrating EMDR and other evidence-based therapies to support recovery and improve quality of life. Her work reflects a strong commitment to combining innovation with scientific rigour in service development. Her breadth of clinical experience enables her to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the complex needs of military populations, always with a focus on compassionate, collaborative care.
