What’s the difference between an introductory and intermediate level workshop?

Beginners or introductory level workshops

An introductory or beginners level workshop assumes that participants have no prior knowledge or experience of the model being taught.

The speaker will typically cover the fundamentals of the model, key assumptions, and background theory and research.

Additionally, participants will be given guidance on reading materials and additional training events to deepen their knowledge and skills.

Intermediate and advanced level workshops

An intermediate level workshop assumes that participants have a good level of familiarity with the model and background theory, as these won’t be covered in-depth.

Instead, the focus is on building skills and helping you apply the model in a more fluid and flexible way.

Rather than focusing on individual processes, an intermediate-level workshop is designed to help you take your skills to the next level and become a more effective practitioner.
