Values as a compass metaphor

This metaphor explains that values are like a compass, guiding us towards what truly matters. It helps us distinguish our WHATs (the things we do) from our WHYs (the purpose and direction we want to head in). When the compass shows ‘west’ it is not sharing the destination, only the way we should be heading, helping us to keep focusing on going in the right direction.

This metaphor isn’t about us getting to the destination, it’s about taking the journey, one mindful step at a time.
